Education
I have a Bachelor's in Environmental Science and Biology (Nova Southeastern University) (GPA 3.96) and a Master's degree in Entomology (GPA 3.0) from the University of Florida. My undergraduate studies included biodiversity indexes in Ecuador, Brazil and Columbia as well as the Caribbean. I also studied Marine Biology, Ichthyology, Avian Biology and Zoology. I am currently a PhD student in Earth Science and Ecology.
Experience
I have been teaching and tutoring for over thirty years and enjoy helping students understand their subject matter. I have extensive experience teaching all grade levels in a classroom as well as in field studies. In addition to regular classes, I have taught field studies for Audubon of Florida, and for Nova University in the Amazon. I also teach biological sciences at Nova Southeastern University.

Hobbies
I am an avid birder and regularly perform butterfly and other invertebrate surveys for environmental studies. I have been working with students helping them learn native and non-native plant identification, and bird and butterfly identification.
