I am a professional Tutor/Coach providing private individual or group Tutoring, Coaching and Training Services to Adult Learners. I enjoy the work I do a great deal; the services which I provide are my passions and it shows...both in the process and the results. As a tutor, I am gifted to be able to spark the student's interest, hold their attention and maintain their focus by presenting the material in a variety of creative and innovative methods. I am a strong proponent of positive feedback and encouragement... building the student's self-esteem and confidence while building skill and proficiency in the subject area. I work to assess and address deficiencies resulting from earlier disconnects in learning, progressing the student at his/her own pace, while simultaneously challenging them to move forward to new vistas. Regular feedback and skill assessment is provided, as well as homework assignments (in most cases) to further hone skills and continue learning through consistent practice. I am also a professional life coach, blessed to be able to provide the compassion, patience, wisdom, encouragement and accountability needed to motivate my clients to confidently achieve their desired next level - personally or professionally - or to move past fear, procrastination, self-sabotage, lack of self-esteem, and disorganization into a desired new direction in life. I incorporate my life coaching skills into my tutoring practice to help my students gain the confidence, motivation and resilience to achieve their goals.
